Irmscher's ID.Buzz Upgrade: Transforming Electric Bulli into Sleek Camper with Accessories Galore!

Customization and Camping Equipment: Auto tuner Irmscher offers additional accessories for the ID.Buzz. This includes modules that turn the electric Bulli into a camper.

The company from Remshalden near Stuttgart offers accessories for the interior and exterior of the ID.Buzz: For the exterior, there’s the Bodykit, consisting of a front spoiler, one for the roof, as well as side skirts and an extension for the rear bumper.

These components give the Bulli a more robust appearance. According to the electric car magazine Edison, the modifications are reported not to affect either the consumption or the range.

The components are available as a kit or separately

The complete Bodykit costs just under 1,700 euros. The components are also available individually, ranging in price from 125 euros to 450 euros.

A key factor for the success of the old VW Bus was its use as a camper, later offered by VW itself as the VW California. A camper version was also planned for the ID.Buzz. However, VW recently postponed this due to issues with weight and range. For the coming year, an extended variant of the vehicle by 25 cm has been announced.

Here, Irmscher provides a solution: With a sleeping module, multifunctional boxes, a refrigerator, and a kitchen, the ID.Buzz is transformed into a camper after all. The modules, available in various colors, range in price from 3,200 euros to 5,200 euros.
